CELEBRATION, Fla. — B.A.S.S. LLC announced today that Owner Hooks has signed on as a Supporting-level Sponsor of the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation events through 2012.

“Owner American Corporation is pleased for the opportunity to become a sponsor of the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation. We love the direction of the new B.A.S.S. management to go back to ‘the grass roots’ to promote bass fishing from the entry-level anglers all the way up to the top professionals. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the new B.A.S.S.,” said Kat Shitanishi, president of Owner American Corporation.

As part of the deal with B.A.S.S., Owner Hooks will have on-site activation at B.A.S.S. Federation Nation events.

“The B.A.S.S. Federation Nation is important to the industry because these are the grass-roots anglers paving a future for bass fishing,” said Jerry McKinnis, who with Don Logan and Jim Copeland purchased B.A.S.S. from ESPN in November 2010. “We’re happy that reputable brands like Owner American Corporation support that future.”
