Boater Joe Lee of Knoxville, Tenn., caught a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 23 pounds, 9 ounces to win the Sept. 17-18 BFL Volunteer Division tournament on Lake Cherokee to earn $4,604. Bobby Drinnon of Rogersville, Tenn., was the highest-placing co-angler in the Sept. 17-18 Volunteer Division event, earning $2,302. Lee was using a Strike King crankbait while fishing in creek channels.
