Prvonozac Wins Bass Fishing League Tournament on Mosquito Lake

Boater Nick Prvonozac of Warren, Ohio, won the May 7 Bass Fishing League Buckeye Division tournament on Mosquito Lake to earn $3,804. Brad Wharton of Barnesville, Ohio, won the co-angler title in the Buckeye Division May 7 to earn $1,897 at the Mosquito Lake event.

NOTES:            The next BFL Buckeye Division tournament is scheduled for June 18 on Indian Lake in Lakeview, Ohio. After the fifth Buckeye Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 13-15 Regional Championship on Smith Mountain Lake in Huddleston, Va. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
