WHAT : Boater Bill Walker, Mulkeytown, Ill., caught a 10-bass limit weighing 23 pounds, 5 ounces Sept. 25-26 to win $4,257 in the Bass Fishing League Illini Division tournament on the Ohio River. Under mostly cloudy skies and windy conditions Walker was fishing with spinnerbaits to catch his limits.

Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
