WHAT : Boater David Ottman of Bridgeport, N.Y., caught a five-bass limit weighing 16 pounds, 6 ounces Aug. 21 to win $3,842 in the Bass Fishing League Northeast Division tournament on Oneida Lake.

NOTES: The next BFL Northeast Division tournament, a two-day Super Tournament, is scheduled for Sept. 11-12 on the Chesapeake Bay in Elkton, Md. After the fifth Northeast Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 7-9 Regional Championship on the Potomac River in Marbury, Md. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
