Boater Nicky McNeely of Natchitoches, La., caught a two-day total of nine bass weighing 26 pounds, 0 ounces to win the Oct. 1-2 BFL Cowboy Division bass fishing tournament on the Red River to earn $7,604. Tazz Ferrell of McKinney, Texas, was the highest-placing co-angler in the Oct. 1-2 BFL Cowboy Division event, earning $2,302. McNeely used a swim jig and Chug Bug to catch his bass.
