Algeo Wins Bass Fishing League Tournament on Stockton Lake

Boater Brent Algeo of Ozark, Mo., won the April 30 Bass Fishing League Ozark Division tournament on Stockton Lake to earn $5,156. David Short of Washington, Mo., was the highest-placing co-angler at the April 30 BFL Ozark Division event.

 

WHAT:              Boater Brent Algeo of Ozark, Mo., caught a five-bass limit weighing 15 pounds even April 30 to win $5,156 in the BFL Ozark Division tournament on Stockton Lake.

NOTES:            The next BFL Ozark Division tournament is scheduled for June 4 on Truman Lake in Warsaw, Mo. After the fifth Ozark Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Nov. 3-5 Regional Championship on Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, Ark. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
