Boater David Lowery of Milledgeville, Ga., caught a two day total of 10 bass weighing 25 pounds, 6 ounces to win the Sept. 17-18 BFL Bulldog Division bass fishing tournament on West Point Lake to earn $6,882. Joel Milner of Talbotton, Ga., was the highest-placing co-angler in the Sept. 17-18 Bulldog Division event, earning $2,441. He was using buzzbaits and All Terrain Tackle Jigs in rocky areas and in shallow woody spots.

Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
