NEW YORK (Nov. 4, 2002) - Field & Stream magazine has signed on as a sponsor of FLW Outdoors, effective with the 2003 tournament season that begins in January. FLW Outdoors is the world's leading marketer of competitive fishing, administering the Wal-Mart FLW Tour, the world's most lucrative bass-tournament series; the EverStart Series, known as the pathway to the Wal-Mart FLW Tour; the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League for weekend anglers; the Wal-Mart Texas Tournament Trail; and the Wal-Mart RCL Walleye Circuit, the world's most lucrative walleye-tournament series.
As a sponsor, Field & Stream magazine will be featured in a variety of media formats maintained by FLW Outdoors, including the "FLW Outdoors" television program broadcast to 55 million subscribers across the country by the Outdoor Life Network; FLW Outdoors Magazine; prominence on FLWOutdoors.com; product display at the Family Fun Zone, an interactive minicarnival at each FLW Tour event; signage at tournaments; angler-award programs; and inclusion in promotional and public relations material.
