FLW Beefs Up Sponsorship Team with Jerky

MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 15, 2004) - FLW Outdoors announced today that Oh Boy! Oberto Beef Jerky is the newest member of its sponsorship team. The meat-snack maker will be the Wal-Mart FLW Tour's official beef-jerky sponsor.

   Through its sponsorship, Oh Boy! Oberto will have the opportunity to connect with more than 52 million anglers in the United States. The easy-to-pack snacks are perfect for people with on-the-go lifestyles and families who head outdoors to enjoy America's waters.

   In 2004, Oh Boy! Oberto will sponsor all of FLW Outdoors' tournament trails, which include the Wal-Mart FLW Tour, the EverStart Series, the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League, the Wal-Mart Texas Tournament Trail; the Wal-Mart RCL Walleye Tour, and the Wal-Mart RCL Walleye League.

   "We are looking forward to our partnership with FLW Outdoors and expanding our involvement in professional fishing," said Mick Tyler, vice president of marketing for Oh Boy! Oberto. "The Wal-Mart FLW Tour Family Fun Zone offers Oh Boy! Oberto a perfect venue to reach a large, loyal audience that includes anglers, their families and fans."

   During the season, a NASCAR-style Ranger boat that prominently displays the Oh Boy! Oberto logo will be used during the final two days of FLW Tour competition.

   Through its sponsorship, Oh Boy! Oberto will also be able to use the "Proud Sponsor of FLW Outdoors" logo on its packaging. Additionally, Oh Boy! Oberto will have a presence at the Family Fun Zone, offering fans samplings of its latest products.
