MINNEAPOLIS - FLW Outdoors announced Tuesday that Ozark Trail has joined FLW Outdoors as its official camping-equipment sponsor. The outdoor-equipment company will be visible on all six of FLW Outdoors' tournament trails.
Ozark Trail offers quality, affordable outdoor products to casual campers. The equipment, exclusively available at Wal-Mart, was designed with the entire family in mind. The clothing is comfortable and the equipment is straightforward to assemble for added ease while participating in outdoor activities. Ozark Trail's products offer the 52 million-plus anglers in America an inexpensive and fun way to remain close to the water with the comforts of home.
For the 2004 season, Ozark Trail will sponsor a two-person team of professional anglers who will compete from Ranger boats emblazoned with the Ozark Trail logo. The company will also have a presence at the Family Fun Zone, a free event open to the public that is held at each Wal-Mart FLW Tour event. The Family Fun Zone features interactive games and product displays for family members of all ages to enjoy.
"Ozark Trail is a well-recognized outdoor brand name known for the affordable quality it offers consumers. We are very proud to have them as part of our sponsorship team," said Bill Petrowiak, vice president of marketing and communications for FLW Outdoors. "Their reputation as a leading producer of quality outdoor products reflects favorably upon FLW Outdoors through our sponsorship association and, at the same time, highlights the value we have to offer our sponsors."
Ozark Trail will be featured in a variety of media formats maintained by FLW Outdoors. The brand will appear on the "FLW Outdoors" television program, which is broadcast to 65 million subscribers of the Outdoor Life Network. It will also be publicized through FLW Outdoors Magazine advertisements, FLWOutdoors.com, product displays in the Family Fun Zone, signage at tournaments, angler-award programs, and promotional and public relations materials.
