With a continuing commitment to building the highest quality, top performing bass boats on the water, Ranger Boats introduces the 521VX Comanche.

   Built on a 21-foot 3-inch frame, the Ranger 521VX Comanche is rated for maximum of 250 horsepower. Available with a single or dual console, the 521VX has a 92 ½-inch beam and dual tank fuel capacity of 52 gallons. The overall design includes lower profile contours, high-performance cockpit, and 14-inch engine setback, all engineered for faster hole shots and top-end acceleration.

   To assure high durability and a smooth ride, the 521VX has Ranger's exclusive pultruded fiberglass transom; fiberglass stringer system; and layers of zone-tempered, interwoven fiberglass inside the hull. Also included is the Rite-Track Keel hull design and Sea Star Pro steering.

   The front deck of the 521VX features two large rod boxes: an eight-foot port box, and a center box with two rows holding seven-foot six-inch rods and seven-foot rods. There is also rod storage with retractable straps on the deck. A lockable compartment forward of the driver's console includes a Pro Stow tackle organizer. A starboard compartment offers additional lockable storage.

   Centered in the rear deck of the 521VX is a large livewell equipped with a removable divider and filter screens. The recirculating Air Venturi aeration system has both manual and automatic timer functions, and a unique pump-out feature making fish more accessible.

   For extra comfort the 521VX includes Ranger's exclusive S-R-S soft-ride seats that use a spring compression support system. For greater security and convenience a new digital keyless ignition system has also been included on the 521.

   Other standard features include a Garmin 240 depth finder with temperature probe; Minn Kota Maxxum 74 trolling motor; Comanche 7-gauge performance instrumentation package; 6-gauge heavy-duty trolling motor wiring; 3 bank, on-board X-treme battery charger; and custom-matched RangerTrailer trailer.

Ranger's New Fisherman Series Models for 2003 include a "Big Water" and Multi-Species boat

 Ranger Boats new model lineup for 2003 includes two new Fisherman Series boats. The Ranger 621VS is designed especially for walleye anglers who fish big bodies of water. The Ranger 618VS Fisherman has been engineered as a true multi-species rig.

   Ranger 621VS: With a 94 ¾ inch beam, length of 21 feet 8 inches and inside depth of 21 inches, the Ranger 621VS is designed to adeptly handle big waves and rough water that occur often on large lakes, reservoirs and rivers. Flared bow contours and wide beam add to the fishability of the 621VS, which is available with a single or dual console. An exclusive pultruded fiberglass transom, fiberglass gussets and fiberglass stringer system have been engineered into the body of the 621VS to provide extra strength.

   The 25-inch transom height of the 621VS allows it to be easily matched with the new popular four stroke outboards. The 621 has a maximum 250 horsepower capacity and carries up to 55 gallons of fuel. The fuel tanks are centrally positioned to create balanced weight distribution. Other performance enhancements include Rite-Track Keel design and Sea Star Pro steering.

   A key feature is the 50-inch livewell equipped with an Air Venturi recirculating aeration system. Also included are a special pump-out feature, filter screens, and manual and automatic timer functions. In addition there is a built-in baitwell equipped with recirculating aeration located in front of the driver's console.

   Other standard features on the Ranger 621VS include integrated engine setback; precision matched outboard (from wide selection); heavy-duty trolling motor wiring and 50 amp breaker; a 3 bank, on-board battery charger; and skid resistant material on the bow.

Ranger 618VS Fisherman: Ranger's new 618VS Fisherman is considered a true multi-species rig with an emphasis on fishability. This 18-foot boat has a broad 83-inch beam with a large interior layout. Rated for an outboard range of 115 to 150 horsepower, the 618VS has a fuel capacity of 26 gallons.

   To assure high durability in rough water, the 618 has Ranger's patented solid fiberglass transom and fiberglass stringer system. Ranger's trademarked Rite-Track KeelTM provides precise tracking and maneuverability.

   Designed as a multi-species boat, the 618VS Fisherman has an oversized 50-inch aerated livewell to accommodate bigger fish such as musky, walleye or stripers. Located in the rear of the boat, the livewell has rounded corners, filter screens and a special pump-out feature. An aerated baitwell is located in the front of the boat and is ideally suited for crappie anglers.

   Storage includes an 8-foot 6-inch rod box; built-in tackle trays alongside the front deck; a storage box doubling as a cooler located behind the driver's seat; and lockable storage forward of the driver's console.

   Other standard features on the Ranger 618VS Fisherman include heavy-duty 6 gauge wiring with 50 amp breaker; a 2 bank, on-board battery charger; molded footrests; spring compression frame seating; skid resistant material on the bow; and matching RangerTrail trailer.

Ranger Boats Introduces New 2003 Intracoastal Models Designed for Both Freshwater and Saltwater Fishing.

Designed for versatility, Ranger Boats' new 185-I and 195-I Intracoastal models fill the needs of freshwater and saltwater anglers fishing from coastal waters or inland lakes.

   "Ranger is about making the highest quality boats with the best features available," Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper said. "Our 185-I and 195-I models deliver this quality and fishability to anglers fishing saltwater or freshwater. We designed them to be versatile."

   The Ranger 195-I is 19 feet 5 inches in length, has 47-gallon fuel capacity and is rated for a maximum of 200 horsepower. The Ranger 185-I is 18 feet 5 inches in length, has 40-gallon fuel capacity and rated for a maximum of 175 horsepower. Both models feature a 92-inch beam, 10-inch integrated engine set-back, and are offered with single or dual console.

   Key features on the two new Intracoastal models that ensure the highest performance and comfort include Sea Star Pro steering, Rite-Track Keel hull design, centrally located fuel tanks, large skid resistant decks, custom molded footrests and specially contoured bench seating.

   To maintain the Ranger reputation of a solid, one-piece feel, layers of zone-tempered fiberglass are interwoven and bonded with the pultruded fiberglass transom and fiberglass stringer system. In addition, upright, level foam flotation is injected into virtually all interior cavities.

   Storage includes two oversized rod lockers with extra-wide openings, gas shocks and lockable latches. The port box of the 195I is 7 feet 3 inches in length and 7 feet 6 inches on the 185I. Both come with a handle supported rod organizer. The starboard box is 6 feet 11 inches on the 195-I, and 7 feet 6 inches on the 185-I. Large, locking storage compartments are located in the rear deck. Between the storage compartments is an extra large, recirculating livewell with a removable divider.

   Additional standard equipment includes a multi-bank, stainless steel battery charger; stainless steel prop and hardware; cranking battery; Garmin 160 fishfinder; Minn Kota 24V Riptide (saltwater or freshwater compatible) trolling motor; six gauge wiring; choice of factory-rigged outboards; and custom-fitted RangerTrail trailer with disc brakes.
