Decatur, Ala. – The Alabama Bass Trail has released a new brochure taking anglers to the top fishing spots in the state of Alabama. The new “Official Lunker Lakes Trail Guide” features maps of the 11 premier bass fishing lakes located throughout the state of Alabama and will serve as an additional marketing tool for raising awareness and interest in bass fishing and for promoting the state as a year-round fishing destination.

“The brochure is an extension of the Alabama Bass Trail’s state of the art web site,” said Program Director Kay Donaldson. “It is a great tool for visiting anglers to identify potential hot spots and to determine where they would like to start their fishing adventure.”

Along with a map of each lake, detailed information on marina locations, boat ramps, bait and tackle stores, areas of vegetation and structure and seasonal temperatures are indicated for all 11 lakes. The brochure will serve as a handy take-along guide for anglers whether they are fishing at one or at all 11 lakes.

Brochures are available at the Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association office located at 402 Sherman Street SE in Decatur or copies may be requested by calling 855.935.7425 or may be downloaded from www.alabamabasstrail.org.
