The developers of Aquaquad, a new rigid inflatable watercraft that was unveiled at the Durban Boat Show in South Africa last year, are offering exclusive business rights to the group's entire range of products. A one-off license fee is required from potential investors to assist with regional manufacturing costs, and an ongoing royalty based on gross turnover will be paid to Aquaquad on all operations and associated business.
Aquaquad is looking to sell a limited number of global manufacturing rights in the following regions: Europe; Australia and the Pacific Rim; the Middle East and Africa; the South East coast of the US, the Gulf and South America; the US West Coast; Canada and the US Great Lakes region. Included in the license fee is a 6.1m (20ft) ex-factory with master pattern moulds, jibs, templates and a breakdown on all materials and production costs. Two weeks' training is also given at the group's Durban factory in South Africa, as well as one week's on-location training. Apart from having majority ownership of the business and exclusive rights to a particular region, investors will also be able to develop new models for local markets and take advantage of business opportunities such as franchises or mail-order programmes.
Based on the 4X4 design of land ATVs and quads, the high-impact Aquaquad is intended for use in the private, leisure and commercial sectors. Applications include fishing, leisure riding, surf wave riding and water skiing, as well as rescue operations and the policing of harbours. For further information visit www.aquaquad.com.
