Springfield-based Bass Pro Shops said in a statement Monday that it remains "deeply committed" to its Fishing Holdings brands, a week after the resignation of three top executives at the company.

"Last week we regretfully accepted the resignations of three executives at Fishing Holdings; Randy Hopper, Keith Daffron and Mendel Hughes," Bass Pro said in the statement. "These actions were voluntary and do not reflect any changes in philosophy with regard to management. We remain deeply committed to the Ranger, Stratos and Triton brands and have tremendous respect for the strong, independent dealer network. The dealers and fantastic team of associates in Flippin, Arkansas continue to have our full support and admiration."

Bass Pro announced in December 2014 that it had reached an agreement to acquire Fishing Holdings, which manufactures fiberglass and aluminum fishing boats sold under the Ranger Boats, Stratos and Triton brands from its base in Arkansas. Contacted by the News-Leader on Friday, Hopper — who had been president of Fishing Holdings — confirmed the resignations but otherwise declined to comment. Daffron was the company's vice president of sales, while Hughes was the company's vice president of finance.
