“The Dick Cepek brand is synonymous with sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts, and we’re thrilled to have the company’s support of every major Bassmaster series this year,” said Bruce Akin, CEO of B.A.S.S. “We’re also proud to support the company’s role as the presenting sponsor for the fourth Elite Series competition at Lake Havasu.”
As a returning Bassmaster sponsor, Dick Cepek Tires & Wheels is offering a new contingency for Elite Series competitors called the Dick Cepek Rolling Forward Award. This new prize focuses on Bassmaster Angler of the Year points and will award $1,000 to the angler who makes the largest gain in AOY standings from tournament to tournament.
Founded in 1958 by Dick Cepek and now headquartered in Stow, Ohio, the company designs and markets truck, SUV, Jeep and 4x4 tires and wheels. Dick Cepek products are available at hundreds of major U.S. and international retailers, as well as online.
“‘Prepare For Adventure’ is not just a company slogan, it’s a reflection of what fueled Dick Cepek’s product innovation when he launched a small product line in 1958, and it’s still the energy behind every product we make,” said Ken Warner, vice president of marketing for Dick Cepek Tires & Wheels. “Dick’s love of the outdoors as a true sportsman led to his innovation of truck tire and wheel products that really perform for outdoor enthusiasts – he wanted them to be the best. The B.A.S.S. organization and event competitors share that same spirit, and we’re proud to expand our relationship with the organization and the anglers this year.”
