COLUMBIA, S.C. (February 16, 2015) - Berkley is rolling out the "red carpet" at the Bassmaster Classic Expo in Greenville, SC in the TD Convention Center. The brand highlights the science behind the products and has a lot of fun and engaging activities for anglers of all skill levels. The expo is scheduled to take place February 20-22.
"We have so much happening in the Berkley booth this year," said Chris Hockley, Berkley Brand Marketing Manager. "We are literally bringing our lab from Spirit Lake, IA to the Expo. Anglers will be able to see many of the scientific tools that we utilize to help develop the best products that are designed to catch more fish.
The Berkley Experience Trailer will be on hand for onlookers to understand the history and science that defines Berkley. The display is a stroll down memory lane mixed with innovative new practices behind the process from the company that allows anglers to catch more fish. There is also a timeline of key products, an updated fish biology section and educational videos on Berkley products. The walk through also displays how the products were developed from the ground up.
This year visitors can expect to see top-bass pros doing seminars and signing autographs. Live demonstrations from Berkley engineers and scientists on how and why fish hold on to PowerBait 18 times longer will be conducted Friday through Sunday.
Visitors through the booth also have the opportunity to play "Hook Set Test" with the new Berkley E-Motion rods, demonstrating the sensitivity and reaction of this new series.
