Sprouse Wins Bass Fishing League Event on Lake Barkley

WHAT : Tim Sprouse of Clarksville, Tenn., caught a five-bass limit weighing 20 pounds even Saturday to win $4,796 in the FLW Bass Fishing League LBL Division tournament on Lake Barkley.

 6th: Drew Lynch, Paducah, Ky., five bass, 13-14, $879

 7th: Steve Alvarado, Paducah, Ky., five bass, 13-8, $799

 8th: Kevin Casey, Clarksville, Tenn., five bass, 13-7, $679

WHAT : James Mercer of Elizabethtown, Ky., caught a five-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 1 ounce Saturday to win $2,398 in the FLW BFL LBL Co-angler Division on Lake Barkley.

NOTES: The next BFL LBL Division tournament is scheduled for May 8 at Kentucky/Barkley lakes in Gilbertsville, Ky. After the fifth LBL Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Ala., Oct. 14-16 for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
