Gross Wins Bass Fishing League Event on Lake Guntersville

WHAT : Buddy Gross of Chickamauga, Ga., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 24 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday, April 24, 2010 to win $4,796 in the FLW Bass Fishing League Choo Choo Division tournament on Lake Guntersville. He was using swimbaits to catch his post spawn fish under wet and windy conditions.

NOTES: The next BFL Choo Choo Division tournament is scheduled for June 5, at Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Ala. After the fifth Choo Choo Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Lake Barkley in Kuttawa, Ky., on Oct. 7-9, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
