Tramel Wins Bass Fishing League Event on Old Hickory Lake

WHAT : Josh Tramel of Smithville, Tenn., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 18 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday, June 12, 2010 to win $3,296 in the FLW Bass Fishing League Music City Division tournament on Old Hickory Lake. Tramel caught his limit early using topwater baits and then switched to deep crankbaits.

 5th: Matt Stanley, Alexandria, Tenn., five bass, 14-4, $659

 6th: Adam Vance, Mount Juliet, Tenn., five bass, 13, $604

 7th: Jeff Baker, Gallatin, Tenn., five bass, 11-12, $549

 8th: Steve Whitaker, Scottsville, Ky., five bass, 10-12, $494

 9th: Rocco Simeri, Murfreesboro, Tenn., five bass, 10-11, $439

 10th: Bryan Gregory, Fort Payne, Ala., five bass, 10-3, $385

WHAT : DJ Boggs of Murfreesboro, Tenn., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 1 ounce Saturday, June 12, 2010 to win $1,648 in the FLW BFL Music City Co-angler Division on Old Hickory Lake. Boggs was fishing along ledges with Lucky Craft Lures around Lagaurdo.

NOTES: The next and last BFL Music City Division tournament of 2010 is scheduled for Oct. 2-3, at Old Hickory Lake in Gallatin, Tenn. After the fifth Music City Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Ala., on Oct. 14-16, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
