GOLCONDA, Ill. (June 15, 2015) – Mike Parmer of Metropolis, Illinois, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 12 ounces Saturday to win the Bass Fishing League Illini Division tournament on the Ohio River. For his victory, Parmer earned $4,119. According to tournament reports, Parmer caught his fish deep using a black and blue Reaction Innovations Sweet Beaver on the main river and in creeks.

William Walker of Mulkeytown, Illinois, caught the biggest bass of the tournament in the pro division, a fish weighing 5 pounds, 1 ounce and earned the day’s Big Bass award of $565. Keith Clore of Percy, Illinois, weighed in five bass totaling 11 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday to win $2,023 in the co-angler division. The top 10 co-anglers were:

Dobill caught the biggest bass of the tournament in the co-angler division and earned the day’s Big Bass award of $277.
The top 50 boaters and 50 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 22-24 Regional Championship on Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and $20,000, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard.
