Fox Wins Bass Fishing League Tournament on Lake Toho

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Sept. 11, 2006) - Boater Kyle Fox of Lakeland, Fla., earned 300 points and $6,011 Sunday as the winner of the Bass Fishing League Gator Division Super Bass Tournament on Lake Toho.

   Fox's two-day winning catch of 10 bass weighed 32 pounds, 6 ounces.

   Rounding out the top five boaters are John Cox of Debary, Fla. (10 bass, 28 pounds, 15 ounces, $3,006); Clint Boyles of Deltona, Fla. (10 bass, 28 pounds, 2 ounces, $2,002); Jim Folks of Melbourne, Fla., (10 bass, 27 pounds, 14 ounces, $1,403) and Robert Lane of Lakeland, Fla. (10 bass, 27 pounds, 4 ounces, $1,202).

   Boyles also won the Boater Division Snickers Big Bass award with a 9-pound, 4-ounce bass that earned him an additional $825.

   Lane also took home an additional $500 for being the highest-placing Ranger Cup participant.

   Jeff Starr of Rockledge, Fla., earned $3,006 as the co-angler winner thanks to 10 bass weighing 21 pounds, 4 ounces.

   Rounding out the top five co-anglers are Scott Fannon of Oldsmar, Fla. (17 pounds, 10 ounces, $1,503); Tim Eundris of Gibsonton, Fla. (17 pounds, 5 ounces, $1,004); Charles Bush of Saint Cloud, Fla., (17 pounds, 2 ounces, $701) and Jeff Sullivan of Frostproof, Fla. (16 pounds, 1 ounce, $601).

   Daniel Davis of Gainesville, Fla., earned $412 as the co-angler Snickers Big Bass winner with a 5-pound, 15-ounce bass.

   The top 40 Gator Division boaters and co-anglers based on year-end points standings will now advance to the no-entry-fee Kerr Lake Regional Championship near Henderson, N.C., Oct. 12-14, where they will compete against Savannah River, Shenandoah and South Carolina anglers for a new Ranger boat and a Chevy truck in the Boater Division plus six slots in the no-entry-fee 2007 Wal-Mart BFL All-American.
