ANNAPOLIS, MD, November 1, 2013 - Boaters can get their holiday cards anywhere. But when they buy them from the BoatUS Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water, they help themselves get home safely. That's because a portion of each sale goes to programs that count for recreational boaters: a national Kids' Life Jacket Loaner Program; 33 state-recognized online boating safety courses; low cost EPIRB emergency beacon rentals and a Grassroots Grants program, which to date, has donated over $1.3 million to local groups for boating safety and clean water projects.

Boaters can personalize over 50 unique holiday card designs - featuring everything from sailboats to powerboats, Santa to Hanukkah. Or, go with beach, lighthouse or marina scenes. Notecards are available too - which make great stocking stuffers for your favorite crew, fishing buddies or boaters in the family. Christmas tree ornaments and puzzles are also offered all at http://www.holidaycardcenter.org/boat?s=BU130002.

And what's the icing on the cake? Two free gifts come with each purchase - but you'd better be nice, or Santa won't bring them.

Funded primarily by the half-million members of Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS) and a national leader in boating safety, the BoatUS Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water provides innovative educational outreach directly to boaters and anglers with the aim of reducing accidents and fatalities, increasing stewardship of America's waterways and keeping boating safe all waterway users.
