Sequim, WA – CastAway Rods and Batson Enterprises today announce a strategic partnership that teams the industry-leading strengths of each company together. Providing an evolution in rod blank engineering for both companies.

The team at CastAway Rods relentlessly worked with RainShadow Rod Blanks design team, Jaguar Design, to refresh they’re Skeleton 2 series lineup of rods. Meticulously engineering a next generation of rod blanks exclusively for CastAway Rods to increase performance of the various lines of their American made finished rods. In addition, CastAway is utilizing both ALPS and ForeCast components across the entire lineup series of rods.

“The two brand new rod lines we will introduce at ICAST this year will set a new high water mark for rod innovation,” said Michael McDevitt, Vice President and General Manager for the Montgomery, Texas-based rod manufacturer.

These new blanks will be featured in CastAway Rods new series Skeleton V2 and Taranis CX1. Each of these series offers a unique blend of innovative features.

In addition to adding RainShadow Rod Blanks to their new lineup of rods, CastAway has also added ALPS and ForeCast rod components to their lineups, also distributed by Batson Enterprises, to bring a competitive finish to these new rods.
