Chicago – IL,  – Catch Co., the company behind leading fishing brands like Mystery Tackle Box and Karl’s Bait & Tackle, has announced today its nationwide search for the first-ever Bassmobile ‘AmBASSador’. This individual will captain the world’s only Bassmobile and will engage with consumers, film a vlog highlighting their adventure, and create surprising moments of joy for thousands of anglers as it hits the road for a cross-country tour.

“At Catch Co., we’re passionate about rescuing people from the indoors, and I can’t think of a better way to truly live out that mission than to bring our brands to life with a mobile tour  that connects us with passionate anglers all over the country,” said Ryan Watson, Chief Customer Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Catch Co..” From tailgating at a state fair to teaching middle schoolers to fish, the Bassmobile will spread the joy of fishing to the 55 million Americans that participate in the sport every year and will hopefully inspire others to get out on the water.”

During a six-month tour of duty, the AmBASSador will be the face of Catch Co., making appearances at dozens of events around the country. Ranging from industry trade shows to fishing tournaments and college football games, these events are an opportunity for consumers to get exposure to Catch Co.’s offerings and learn more about the sport of fishing.

Interested applicants can apply for the job here and will be expected to start in June. In addition to taking care of the Bassmobile and other operational logistics, Catch Co. is looking for someone with the following qualities:

  • Nonstop energy, infectious passion, and an amazing level of flexibility in adapting to rapidly-changing situations.

  • The ability and willingness to learn quickly.

  • Being a can-do self-starter who can solve a wide variety of problems.

  • Love for engaging with people and a camera-ready personality.

  • Deep existing level of knowledge about all things fishing.

The unique nature of this tour also makes it a perfect content generation opportunity, and the AmBASSador will be expected to film a behind-the-scenes video series documenting the ups and downs of living in an RV and experiencing life on the road. The company is also producing a ‘Making of the Bassmobile’ documentary to offer a glimpse into all the work required to transform an RV into a unique vehicle like this.
