CHICAGO–– The Catch Company, creators of unique fishing brands like Mystery Tackle Box and e-commerce platform, Karl’s Bait & Tackle, recently announced the “On The Line” competition to find the next great YouTube Fishing Channel to sponsor. This week the first of 4 challenges was completed by the ten finalists and audiences can now submit their votes for their favorites. Combined with audience voting, the ten finalists will be judged by a panel of judges with years of experience in the world of YouTube Fishing content.
Spread over 4 weeks of unique challenges, the competition features 10 contestants competing to win the title of “On the Line Champion”. With over $20,000 in cash and prizes on the line, including a 12-month influencer contract with Catch Co., the competition will provide a launch pad for those dreaming of making a career out of fishing content creation. Catch Co. has teamed up with past partners, Lowe Boats, AFTCO Apparel, and The Googan Squad.

Starting now, audiences can view and vote for their favorite Week 1 submissions, voting for week 1 ends on June 6th. The Top 8 creators who receive the highest aggregate score from the panel of judges, combined with the audience scores will move on to the next round. Judges include pro angler Brian Latimer, prominent YouTube creator Lojo, and Catch Co. Founder & CEO Ross Gordon. The winner will receive a Grand Prize package including $5,000 in cash, a new Lowe Jon Boat, and a 12-month contract to become a YouTube Influencer with Catch Co.
