After a tough first day of fishing, João Grosso and Fernando Cruz managed to end the second day in the second place with five fish with a total weight of 5.030 Kg.    At the end, César Pecellin reminded that this was not a easy work because "the Portuguese teams show a good level of competition and they know Alqueva very well".

The Japanese team Seiji Kato and Hiroshi Takahaski, absolute beginners in this Classic Bass, ended with the 24th place with 3.440 Kg and ten bass captured. But Seiji Kato showed himself impressed by the quality of the Portuguese anglers and of the organization. The Japanese competitor, that flew over from Japan to Portugal in an 18-hour plane trip, appreciated that the organization took care of everything from the boats revision to the work with the participants".

Seijio Kato received lots of applauses by the public in Alqueva that crowded the place and exploded with every single bass present by in the competitors.

A last word for Soner people that work very hard for this Classic Bass so that we can offer a boat to the winners, believing in the work that APPA has developed in the last years.
