SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 22, 2017) - Registration is now open for the twelfth annual Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented. Collegiate anglers that meet the criteria requirements are encouraged to register now for the event. The Championship event will be held for the sixth consecutive year on Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama for a week-long schedule of activities.
"It's been 12 years since BoatUS first began to support college fishing and it's exciting to be a continued part of college fishing's premier event. The unbelievable growth in college fishing since this event started is a testament to how valued programs like the ACA are to youth anglers," said BoatUS Foundation President Chris Edmonston. "The college-aged anglers continue to impress us all with their competitive spirit and their dedication to conservation. It is also great to see past competitors emerging as the next generation of leaders in the boating and fishing world."
