Lake Columbia in Arkansas produces some impressive bass. Biologists sampled Lake Columbia as part of their annual spring sampling earlier this month and saw lots of healthy-looking bass, including 5 fish over 5 lbs. and a big fish that was 7.4 lbs. While our crew was sampling, local angler Jamie Venable was fishing nearby and caught this impressive bass that weighed 7.8 lbs. Wow!
And did we mention...Lake Columbia also has some of the largest Redear Sunfish you've ever seen?! This is definitely a lake you'll want to try out if you haven't already!
