Stewart Leads Everstart Series Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake Roosevelt

PAYSON, Ariz. (Feb. 17, 2011) – Kevin Stewart of Elk Grove, Calif., brought a five-bass limit weighing 15 pounds, 6 ounces to the scales on Thursday to take the lead on day one of the three day EverStart Series bass fishing tournament on Lake Roosevelt. Anglers are competing for top awards up to $35,000 plus a Ranger boat with an Evinrude or Mercury outboard for the pro and a Ranger boat with an Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus $5,000 for the co-angler. The 137 boat field will be cut after Friday’s weigh-in to the top-10 pros and cos for Saturday’s final day of competition.
