(Jan. 14, 2011) – Jeff Michels of Lakehead, Calf., brought a five-bass limit weighing 16 pounds, 3 ounces to the scales on Friday for a two day total of 30 to take a commanding lead at the EverStart Series bass fishing tournament on Lake Shasta. Michels now holds a commanding 7 pound 14 ounce lead going into the final day of competition where only the top 10 advanced. Rounding out the top 10 pros are:
