Sturtevant, Wis., May 12, 2008- BRP congratulates Patrick Uchino, from Burbank, California for winning the second Evinrude Ultimate Fantasy Fishing Experience Challenge and for finishing first in the Lake Norman FLW bass fishing tournament in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Uchino's victory earns him a new Evinrude E-TEC 150-horsepower outboard engine valued at over $14,000. The grand prize package, still up for grabs, includes a fully loaded Ranger Z520 Comanche boat, and a once-in-a-lifetime day spent fishing with a favorite Team Evinrude pro.

Uchino was one of seven players who accumulated 165 Evinrude Power Points in the contest. The winner was determined based on players' answers to a tie-breaker question regarding their team's total weight for fish caught during the tournament. Uchino's guess narrowly beat out second-place finisher Daniel Sauer, by 7 ounces. Sauer's second-place finish earned him an all-expense-paid fishing trip to Wild Life Farms Resort in Casscoe, Arkansas.

Third- and fourth-place finishers include Robert Eldridge, from Maumee, Ohio, winner of a Minn-Kota Maxxum Pro Trolling Motor, and Joshua Floyd, from Woodstock, Georgia, recipient of a Lowrance®X96 Fish Finder. Eldridge's and Floyd's guesses were respectively 4 pounds, 6 ounces and 16 pounds, 6 ounces behind the winner.

Eldridge is also the new overall point leader after two events with 359 Evinrude Power Points. With three tour events remaining, new Evinrude Ultimate Fantasy Fishing Experience Challenge players have plenty of opportunities to win valuable tournament prizes and accumulate enough points to win the grand prize. Currently less than 75 points separates Eldridge from over 150 players, so it's still anyone's game.

"The race to win the Ultimate Fantasy Fishing Experience is just starting to heat up," said Richard Palmersheim, vice president, Marketing and Strategic Planning, Outboard Marine Engines, at BRP. "New players are registering every day and we expect a very exciting finish that should go down to the wire."

It's not too late to begin playing the Evinrude Ultimate Fantasy Fishing Experience Challenge. Players who sign up today still have three more chances to win prizes and accumulate points toward the grand prize, a package worth over $60,000. BRP is awarding $175,000 in prizes. Getting started is simple.

 Step 1: register at http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/fantasy ;

 Step 2: pick a team of three anglers from a pre-selected group of 15 Evinrude pros;

 Step 3: watch as you earn Evinrude Power Points based on the performance of the pros you selected.

The next FLW tournament is scheduled at Beaver Lake near Rogers, Arkansas on May 15-18. Players can begin registering their new team of three Evinrude pros up until the eve of the tournament.

The grand prize winner will choose a fantasy fishing trip with an elite Team Evinrude angler who will share his successful fishing tips and techniques to teach the winner how to catch even more fish. The pro will demonstrate how to use the new Evinrude E-TEC 250 H.O.-powered Ranger Z520 Comanche boat, the Minn-Kota Maxxum Pro trolling motor and the Lowrance fish finder, and even help the winner pick out the best equipment to purchase with the winner's $2,500 Cabela's gift card. Four additional prizes are awarded for the second, third, fourth and fifth highest cumulative Evinrude Power Point totals for all five tournaments.
