FLW Outdoors, 3M Announce Partnership

MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 10, 2011) – Modern research and development pioneer 3M has joined forces with FLW Outdoors to highlight its brands.

     ”To have one of the world’s most renowned and innovative companies embrace the sport of fishing and outdoor lifestyle is exciting,” said Trisha Blake, president, FLW Outdoors Marketing Division. “They will be heavily rewarded for supporting such a loyal consumer group.”

     3M and its multiple brands will be highlighted across the numerous platforms of FLW Outdoors, including all bass and walleye events, its websites, “FLW Outdoors” television show on VERSUS, and its bass and walleye magazines.

     3M will host displays promoting its products and sponsored angler during the 2011 season while providing promotional products and offers to fans at the FLW Outdoors Expo, surrounding all Walmart FLW Tour and championship tournaments, and the College Fishing Festival, held in conjunction with National Guard FLW College Fishing events. In addition, 3M will reach thousands of outdoor enthusiasts and their families throughout the country through these and other events associated with retailtainment, which brings entertainment to the retail experience and was made famous by Walmart.
