MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 29, 2009) - FLW Outdoors announced a star-studded professional angling team for Chevrolet for the 2009 Walmart FLW Tour. Team Chevy features veterans Luke Clausen, Dion Hibdon, Larry Nixon and Kim Stricker. Two new additions feature Anthony Gagliardi and two-time Angler of the Year Jay Yelas.
Longtime Team Chevy angler Jimmy Houston will be part of Team Chevy exclusively fishing the Walmart FLW Series BP Eastern Division.
"It is an honor to once again be back with Chevrolet," said Yelas, who was part of the Chevy Pro Staff in 2002 and 2003. "Team Chevy is one of the premier teams in FLW Outdoors, the top fishing circuit in the country."

Chevrolet, a longtime sponsor of FLW Outdoors, is the title sponsor of the Chevy Open, held this year in Huntsville, Ala., from Feb. 12-15. Chevy also is the presenting sponsor of the BFL All-American, the championship event for weekend bass anglers. Chevrolet is also proud to make their anglers available to the general public for photos and autographs prior to each FLW Tour, FLW Series BP Eastern Division and championship event at a local Chevy dealer.
