MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 19, 2015) – FLW has announced a sponsorship agreement with Johnson Outdoors, owner of Minnesota-based trolling motor manufacturer Minn Kota. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. “Minn Kota’s commitment to innovation and quality is widely recognized by tournament anglers and fans,” said Trish Blake, president of marketing at FLW. “We are pleased to continue our partnership with them in 2015.” The Minn Kota brand will receive exposure through FLW’s multiple platforms including its website, social media community, world-class tournaments and expos, and FLW Bass Fishing magazine. The brand will also receive exposure on the “FLW” television show which is broadcasted on NBC Sports Network in high definition (HD) on Sundays to over 265 million viewers. “As the world’s leading manufacturer of electric trolling motors, Minn Kota has delivered innovative, tournament-tough products for over 80 years,” said Joe Brown, marketing director for Minn Kota. “Our longstanding partnership with the world’s leading tournament-fishing organization provides the perfect showcase for our products while supporting the FLW community and the growth of competitive fishing as a whole.”
