Partnerships are a vital component of conservation. Greers Ferry Lake is a large reservoir that can require cooperation between like-minded groups and individuals to complete big projects.
Last week the US Army Corps of Engineers called on the assistance of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Fish Greers Ferry Guide Service, and the Greers Ferry Walleye Club to help them construct, deploy, and find the best locations for 30 Mossback fish habitat structures that they had purchased. The project took place over three days, and the 30 structures were sunk at seven different sites in the Devil's Fork and Bond Air areas on Greers Ferry Lake. The coordinates for the habitat sites are provided on the included map and will be available for download on the AGFC Fish Attractors page.
