The 37-year-old Monroe has earned a reputation as one of the most active anglers in the ranks of professional bass anglers. Each year, Monroe competes in as many as 15 tour level events, and his busy schedule has presented him opportunity to succeed on both the Bassmaster Elite Series as well as the FLW Tour.
Monroe’s competitive record features two wins in B.A.S.S. competition; including the first ever Bassmaster Elite Series event on Lake Amistad in 2006, and the 2006 Busch Shootout. Monroe has earned $906,707 in his 163 career entries. In the 2011 season, Monroe had four top 10 finishes in the eight event season of the Elite Series and earned his seventh trip to the Bassmaster Classic.
His FLW accomplishments are equally impressive. Monroe has won four tournaments and finished in the top 10 18 times en route to two trips to the Forrest Wood Cup. Throughout his career, Monroe has earned an additional $480,727 in FLW Outdoors competition.

While new to the team, the California pro has been using the products in competition. “The Stand’n Yabbie is one of my go to bedfishing baits, and I love the S-Waver,” Monroe revealed. “I’ve also been playing with the jigs, tungsten sinkers and crankbaits quite a bit; and they are lures I get excited about; this is a partnership I’m excited to be a part of.”

River2Sea plans to begin working with Monroe, as well as his teammates to create signature products that will help them win on the sport’s biggest stage; the Bassmaster Elite Series.
