LOS ANGELES, CA – March 1, 2017 -Lucky Tackle Box (www.luckytacklebox.com) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Canada’s largest fishing subscription box service, My Monthly Catch.  The acquisition gives Lucky Tackle Box a broader share of the Canadian market and significantly increases their ability to market brands to Canadian consumers.

My Monthly Catch is a Canadian-based subscription box service that delivers high-quality baits, tackle, and fishing accessories directly to a large customer base each month. MMC currently offers one box option, primarily focused on multi-species fishing.   Effective March 1, 2017, all My Monthly Catch subscribers will begin receiving Lucky Tackle Box.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to significantly expand our subscriber base in Canada,” says Rick Patri, Chief Operations Officer at Lucky Tackle Box. “We already have a large base of satisfied Canadian subscribers who receive Lucky Tackle Box each month, but this will allow us to have an even bigger impact in the outdoors and fishing market there. My Monthly Catch is a great company and we are looking forward to welcoming their subscribers to the LTB family.”

“Our #1 priority was making sure that our current subscribers would be well taken care of and we’re excited that they’ll be able to pick from any of their 8 species-focused boxes,” states Spencer Gonchar, President of My Monthly Catch. “They work with some the biggest brands in the fishing industry and they have an educational component that no other fishing subscription box offers. This is a fantastic opportunity for our subscribers and a huge commitment from LTB to the Canadian fishing community.”

Lucky Tackle Box is the fastest-growing fishing subscription box in the industry.  Over 50,000 subscribers across the US and Canada receive a box full of the best baits each month, along with instructional videos and articles to help them learn more about the sport of fishing and catch more fish on the products they receive.
