Major League Fishing (MLF) has issued a weather delay for the Knockout Round at the Stage Five on Watts Bar tournament in Spring City, Tennessee due to lightning in the area. Takeoff from the Spring City Boat Ramp is postponed until 8:30 a.m. ET (Subject to change.)
“As always, the safety of our anglers and their families, competition officials, camera operators and MLF staff is top of mind,” said Aaron Beshears, MLF Tournament Director. “Weather Operations is expecting lightning in the area for the next hour or so, so we are tentatively planning to launch at 8:30 a.m. That is subject to change, however, depending on the rate of movement, but we will get everyone out on the water as soon as it is safe to do so.”
