(MILWAUKEE) – OPTIMA Batteries congratulates OPTIMA-sponsored angler, Chris Lane for his first place 2012 Bassmaster Classic victory. After three days Lane’s catch tipped the scale at 51 pounds, 6 ounces to claim the 2012 crown and the $500,000 first-place prize. This is Lane’s first Classic win and second Bassmaster bass fishing tournament title of the season.
Additionally, OPTIMA is proud of its other anglers who produced a strong showing at the Classic making up five of the top ten spots, and taking home a combined total of more than $600,000. OPTIMA congratulates the following OPTIMA-sponsored 2012 Bassmaster Classic winners:
• Chris Lane, first place (51-6)
• Greg Vinson, second place (47-15)
• Timmy Horton, sixth place (44-13)
• Edwin Evers, eighth place (43-8)
• Bill Lowen, tenth place (40-15)
