Jan. 31, 2013 (MILWAUKEE) – OPTIMA® Batteries is pleased to announce a record-breaking year at the conclusion of the fourth annual True Blue Marine Rewards contingency program. In 2013, top-finishing, qualified anglers walked away with a grand total of nearly $15,000 in cash rewards, in addition to their regular winnings, rewarding over 40 individual anglers and teams at nine different tournaments and circuits nationwide. On top of the cash payouts, one lucky True Blue participant, Jeff Kronenberg from Pewaukee, WI, was chosen at random for an all-expenses paid fishing trip with OPTIMA Batteries sponsored, Professional Anglers Association and Bassmaster Elite pro angler, Edwin Evers.
Through this annual program, the True Blue Marine Rewards Program gives top-finishing, qualified anglers the chance to win cash prizes of up to $1,000 per event. A complete list of 2013 participating circuits and events include: BAD Bass, BBT Bass, Florida Federation Nation, South Georgia Fishers of Men, Minnesota Pro-Team Bass Tour, North American Bass Circuit, Masters Walleye Circuit, Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tour and the Wisconsin Alliance of Bass Tournament Anglers.
