BENTON, Ky. (May 19, 2011) – Autographed memorabilia and jerseys from some of the top professional anglers in the nation are among the items in the PAA Auction that began Thursday.

 Auction items are easy to find by simply visiting www.FishPAA.com/auctions, where you’ll be taken to the PAA’s eBay auction site. Each item is listed individually with a photo and description of the item. Bidding will continue through May 26.

 Some of the items:

  •  A Bass Pro Shops cap autographed by Tommy Martin, Rick Clunn and Kevin VanDam, who have combined for nine Bassmaster Classic titles and more than $7 million in winnings during their careers;
  •  Boat paddles and tee-shirts signed by PAA Tournament Series pros including Shaw Grigsby, Paul Elias, Russ Clark, Kevin Hawk, Tommy Biffle, Dave Lefebre and others;
  •  A beautiful book, “Big 50,” featuring great photos and stories of the 50 greatest IGFA world-record catches and autographs from the pros competing in the inaugural PAA All Star Series last April in Texas;
  •  Autographed tournament jerseys from veterans Harold Allen of Texas, Brian Snowden of Missouir and Chad Morgenthaler of Illinois;
  •  An autographed “Wheaties” box featuring Denny Brauer after his FLW Tour Angler of the Year title and appearance on the box.

 All of the PAA Auction items would make great graduation or Father’s Day gifts for any angler young or old. Some items, such as the jerseys, boat paddles and Wheaties box, are suitable for framing for a game room or as a showpiece among other fishing collectibles.

 In addition, 20 percent of each final sale price will be donated to the American Red Cross to help the tornado and flood relief victims in the Southeast and Midwest. Buyers may make an additional donation, too.
