BENTON, Ky. (Feb. 14, 2011) – OPTIMA Batteries known among anglers for its Blue Top batteries, has joined the Professional Anglers Association as a Premier Sponsor.
OPTIMA Batteries will be featured in marketing campaigns and other promotions for the 2011 Bass Pro Shops PAA Tournament Series. PAA members and fans will have multiple opportunities throughout the year to win OPTIMA Batteries products through online and tournament site promotions.
OPTIMA will sponsor the “OPTIMA Hard Charger Award” for the biggest one-day catch of each tournament in the 2011 Bass Pro Shops PAA Tournament Series presented by Carrot Stix. The four anglers who capture this honor will be featured on “FishPAA Television” in the OPTIMA Hard Charger segment, as well as online on the PAA website.

Some promotional contests will be online while others will be held at tournament locations in Georgia, Missouri, Texas and Alabama or other venues.
