TUSTIN, Calif., Sept. 30, 2010 - Pinnacle Fishing announced today that it has added John Crews - a top angler on the BASS, FLW and PAA tournament trails - to its pro staff. As part of a multi-year agreement, Crews will use Pinnacle gear exclusively during tournament competition and help the manufacturer promote its new Tournament Class reels and rods nationwide.

"John is a rising star in the angling world and a very effective promoter," said Charles Park, president of Pinnacle Fishing. "We're excited that he's joining our team, and we're confident he'll help bring our new Tournament Class series to the forefront."

Crews, who has 14 "top-ten" BASS event finishes and five "top-ten" FLW finishes under his belt, secured his first major BASS Elite Series victory this March at the California Delta. He also finished the season 12th among 93 Elite Series anglers, earning a coveted spot in the 2011 Bassmaster Classic.

The Virginia native is enthusiastic about his new working relationship with Pinnacle. "I'm really impressed with the entire Tournament Class lineup," said Crews. "Quality and precision like this will make it easy to spread the word."
