Bozeman, Montana - Simms Fishing Products, the preeminent manufacturer of waders, outerwear, footwear and technical apparel hires Patterson Leeth of Minnesota to fill the Community Leader - Lake role.
"Having spent the majority of my career working in the greater bass fishing community, I'm looking forward to starting a new chapter within the industry I love," said Leeth. As a lifelong angler, I'm stoked to join the family and I'm excited for the opportunity to be a part of Simms' future growth."
Leeth joins Simms after a three year stint serving as Vice President of Marketing for Fishing League Worldwide (FLW), the world's largest tournament fishing organization. During this time, Leeth led strategic planning and budget management for the company, overseeing a 15 person marketing team.
In the newly created Community Leader - Lake position, Leeth, a graduate of Saint Olaf College will lead all efforts on Lake marketing initiatives, including developing relationships with Simms pros, advising on events and event activations, counseling distribution and product strategies, and building relationships with key influencers and industry partners. The relationships within the bass community Leeth brings to the table will be essential to driving Simms awareness within the community. Leeth's official start date with Simms is September 11, 2017.
