In addition, the new circuit includes television coverage not only across the Lone Star State, but across the country as a national audience will watch the action unfold from each event throughout the season. Airing on multiple networks, the Texas Team Trail will be seen on The Texas Channel, World Fishing Network, Pursuit Channel, as well as the new NBC Sports Network.
“The Texas Team Trail will create tremendous opportunities for bass tournament anglers throughout the state of Texas,” said Mike Hastings, Tournament Director. “The payout structure is incredible and with a low-cost, budget friendly entry fee, anglers have a real opportunity to cash in. And when you consider the sponsor bonus contingency prizes available, there’s just not another team trail in Texas that delivers this much value to the angler.”
In fact, for a $250 entry fee, anglers have a chance to win a fully equipped boat and motor package at every Texas Team Trail event. The year-end Championship culminates with two more boat and motor packages being awarded to the teams competing in that event. To qualify for the two-day Championship, anglers must fish all four qualifying events. In addition to the payout, the Texas Team Trail offers anglers several contingency opportunities. The circuit is pre-approved with multiple contingency bonus programs made available to Ranger, Stratos and Triton boat owners as well as Mercury and Evinrude through 50th place. Cabela’s will offer their lucrative Angler Cash incentives at each Texas Team Trail event.
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to work with some great partners to build an exciting event for Texas anglers,” said Chris Sprangers, Brand Partnership Manager for Cabela’s. “It’s great to be part of such a strong commitment to the sport of fishing.”
