Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Triton Boats, announced a new program for 2012 today. Partnering with American Bass Anglers (ABA), Triton and Mercury are currently offering to pay entry fees for up to five bass fishing tournaments in any ABA tournament trail in 2012 with the purchase of a new 2012 Triton fiberglass boat powered by a Mercury engine in 2012. This program is valued at over $1,000, and Triton Gold members are still eligible to win contingency money*.
“You buy a new Triton boat powered by a Mercury motor in 2012 and have your entry fees paid for up to five tournaments within the ABA tournament trail of your choice in 2012,” said Earl Bentz, founder, Triton Boats. “It’s that easy. Triton and Mercury appreciate the chance to offer this to our new buyers, and the ABA is excited to get more avid anglers involved in the sport of competitive fishing.”
American Bass Anglers is the one of the largest tournament organizations for the weekend angler. The ABA operates the American Fishing Tour, The Bassmaster Weekend Series, The American Couples Series and the Military Bass Anglers Association. Each tournament trail is designed specifically for the weekend angler, offering low cost and close to home events, so the anglers can qualify for larger championships.
“ABA is excited to offer this program to new Triton/Mercury owners,” said Morris Sheehan, president of ABA. “With angling fees increasing everywhere we jumped at the opportunity to give new boat buyers a break. Now anglers can fish up to five tournaments without registration fees piling up throughout the year. It is also a great chance to win plenty of cash for angling skills.”
New Triton/Mercury buyers can choose their tournaments from one of the following ABA tournament trails: Weekend Series Tournaments, American Fishing Tour Events, American Couples Tour Tournaments or the Annual Military Team Bass tournament.
