NORMAN, OK. (July 18, 2012) – With the conclusion of the 2012 Texas Team Trail set to conclude, Texas Team Trail is pleased to announce the 2013 schedule. The newest team tournament fishing trail for bass anglers in and around the Lonestar State is scheduled to kick off Saturday March 2nd on Sam Rayburn Lake. Registration for the 2013 events will start January 1, 2013.
The events, designed exclusively for team competition, offer anglers an unprecedented opportunity in terms of payout, sponsor bonuses and television coverage.

The Sam Rayburn event is the first of four 2013 qualifying events that guarantee a fully-rigged, 18’ tournament equipped bass boat package as first place prize – in this case a Triton 18SE with 150 hp Mercury outboard. Combine that with a budget-friendly, $250 entry fee, multiple contingency bonus programs and over 100% payback – and the buzz among Texas’ anglers is firmly centered on the TXTT and upcoming March 2nd event on Sam Rayburn.
Along with title-sponsor Cabela’s, Texas Team Trail has also welcomed Lucas Oil, Ranger Boats, Stratos Boats, Triton Boats, Evinrude, Minn Kota, Mercury Marine, Talon, Lowrance, Power-Pole, RAM Trucks, Boater’s Insurance, MotorGuide and Angler Skins as official partners.
On-site registration will be held Friday, March 1st from 5-8pm at Umphrey Pavilion on Sam Rayburn Lake. At least one team member is required to attend. The tournament will launch Saturday, March 2nd at safe light from Umphrey Pavilion and weigh-in will begin at the same location at 3pm.
