The next stop on the WBFA Tour will be in March 2005 at the Apalachicola River at Mexico Beach Florida. The only women's professional bass fishing tour in the world has recently put exciting, new ideas into motion to benefit competitive anglers, families and communities the tour visits. "FAST TRACK" seminars are one-hour educational classes designed to help jump-start newcomer's careers and keep skilled pros aware of the latest industry trends. The tour also holds Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society (FOCAS) meetings for anglers who miss attending their own church services due to traveling. The WBFA plans for summer events include youth fishing derbies to "seed the sport" in various cities where events are held.

WBFA is sponsored by Triton Boats, Mercury Marine, Gary Yamamoto Custom baits, FisherGirl, Inc, The Flying Lure, DEKA Marine Master Batteries, Minn Kota Trolling Motors, Stay N Charge, and Eidelon Bait Company.
