River Ridge Access on the White River is the newest boat ramp in Independence County. It is located approximately 15 river miles below Dam 1 at Batesville, and 7 miles above the Oil Trough Access at AR Hwy 122. Construction of this new boat ramp was a collaboration between AGFC and Independence County through Marine Fuel Tax Program funding.
The new boat ramp provides more access for White River anglers seeking Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Walleye, Sauger, and catfish. In the winter months, anglers also report catching the occasional trout in this section of the river.
